Star's first skatepark.

 

The Tom Erlebach Skatepark opened on April 10, 2017.  The park is named after former City Council Member Tom Erlebach (served 2004-2016) who had a dream to build a park in Star after driving his son Lucas and his friends to other cities to find skateparks. 

 

Tom raised nearly half of the money needed to build the park through private donations.  The City of Star provided the remainder of the funds.

The park was designed by Grindline Skateparks and features obstacles for skaters and scooters of all ages and skill levels.
